“Sweden Korea Education, Research, and Innovation Collaboration (SKERIC)”
SKERIC is a joint proposal between eight leading Swedish and Korean universities, building on a longstanding history of cooperation. SKERIC aims to equip some of the best and brightest young researchers and innovators with the necessary tools, skills, and networks to become leading researchers, academic leaders, and outstanding innovators, capable of addressing pressing societal challenges as well as advocating for democracy and academic freedom.
2. “Indicators: Development and implementation of support for internationalisation in first cycle degree programmes”, a project at Halmstad University, is awarded SEK 2 million. The project is co-funded by Halmstad University to an amount of SEK 2.2 million.
“Indicators: Development and implementation of support for internationalisation in first cycle degree programmes”
This project aims to better support degree programmes in the furthering of internationalisation, ultimately resulting in more global students. Based on its vision, goals and strategies, Halmstad University has developed a set of indicators for measuring internationalisation in first cycle programmes and used them in a pilot study (spring 2023) in a small number of programmes. This project aims to scale up the use of these indicators and to develop a support structure.
This year STINT’s Strategic Grants for Internationalisation programme offered the opportunity to apply for an additional SEK 5 million to further the mobility of early career researchers.
A total of six applications were assessed in the 2023 round.
