One of STINT’s oldest and most popular programmes has now been evaluated for the second time. Initiation Grants supports the establishment of new academic collaborations with countries outside EU/EFTA. Since 2011, 259 projects have been granted and the programme continues.
The evaluation was made by SWECO during the spring 2019. It shows that the programme has been successful. For example, many collaborations continue or even expand after the period with STINT funding. Among the recommendations, it is suggested that STINT considers more activities to attract applications targeting education-oriented collaborations.
