The number of countries with high quality research and education increases. STINT has bilateral programmes with a couple of them. The new programme Mobility Grants for Internationalisation offers opportunities to collaborate with all countries outside EU/EFTA.
In contrast to the bilateral programmes, which offer coordinated applications for funding in both countries, this programme requires that funding is organised in another way. Potentially the collaboration party (or parties) already has access to such funding? Otherwise, it has to be applied for.
To facilitate the creation of projects, STINT will also be able to grant applications with only preliminary co-funding arrangements. In such cases, the applicant will have to confirm the co-funding in November the year after the call closed, at the latest.
STINT funds win-win collaborations. Balanced funding of the projects is one important aspect to ensure sustainable collaborations.
